Exhibition Guide

On the ground floor of the Research Center is an Exhibition Hall where we show exhibitions of historical documents and other materials related to disaster prevention, as well as displays of the findings of more recent research. Documentary images of damage inflicted during earthquakes are also available for viewing.

Exhibition of hazard maps (showing sites of potential damage, evacuation shelters, and evacuation methods) given to the Center's collection by local governments nationwide (April - June 2006)

City and Disaster Prevention Simulation and Gaming Exhibition

With the cooperation of the Foundation for the Fusing of Science and Technology (FOST) in Kanagawa, Japan, the Center developed a simulation game aimed at improvement of disaster-prevention community training, awareness, and education. (November 2006)
